“Your left hand lets go the moment the right hand comes in.”
- 1Left hand alone, both notes held.左手单独练,两个音都按住。
- 2Add the right hand. Don’t let go early.加上右手,别提前松。
- 3Hands together at tempo; listen for the hold.双手原速,听那个保持住的音。

The recognition engine
Under the page, it hears every note.
1Lift the page; the engine comes apart.
2It starts as sound: eight seconds, bars 1 to 3.
3Sound is drawn as pitch over time.
4A small model on the phone reads it.
5Every key, judged more than 40 times a second.
6The judgments become notes: pitch, start, end.
7The follower finds each note on the page.
8Back to one page: thirty-seven notes, heard.

- What is recorded
- Only lessons a teacher or student chooses to record. Before it starts, they confirm that everyone in the room knows and agrees, and a timer stays on screen until it ends.
- Who can see it
- Notes from a teacher's lesson go to two people: the teacher and the student. The teacher reads each one before the student sees it.
- Deleting it
- Delete the account in the app's Settings, and its notes go with it. A student's voice is also removed from lessons their teacher recorded; only the date, piece and length stay.
